ORDER/FAQ
How do I place an order?
To start the order process, please send an email to
info@gladycakes.ca.
Please include the following information:
-the date of your event
-the occasion/nature of your event (birthday, wedding, etc)
-what flavour you'd like
-how many people you will need to serve
-if delivery is required, the address of your event location & time it needs to arrive
-your daytime phone number
-your email address
-an idea of what kind of cake design you are looking for
Gladycakes will contact you to discuss your order and/or schedule a wedding appointment.
What factors into the price of a cake, cupcake or cake pops?
Gladycakes does not sell pre-made cakes. Every cake is freshly baked and custom made to order. Pricing is based on the care given to each cake, the one-of-a-kind nature of each order, the complexity of their design, and the amount of time and effort to produce your special order.
What is your payment policy?
All orders under $100 must be paid in full 1 (one) week prior to order due date
Wedding cakes, large and/or special orders over $100 require a $100.00 deposit to secure your date, which will then be applied to your overall invoice balance. Your order is not confirmed until we receive your deposit.
Gladycakes currently accepts cash, email money transfers and cheques. Prices listed do not include tax. Taxes will be added to your invoice.
Where are you located?
Gladycakes is located in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada. Address and map information will be given for all pick-up orders.
Do you charge for delivery?
Pick-up orders are always free of charge, and highly encouraged. Delivery fees are as follows:
-York region $25
-Peel region $50
-Toronto & the GTA $25
An additional set-up fee will be applied to all wedding cake deliveries.
Due to the delicate nature of our baked goods, Gladycakes does not ship orders.
Please note: I am not a bakery, but a one-woman-show. All cakes, cupcakes and cake pops are made-to-order, and require a great deal of time and effort to create. My time is limited with the number of orders I can fill in any given month, and while I'd like to fulfill all requests, orders are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Thank you.
